When you take a step back and stop trying to force things, you’ll know in your heart that you’ve found it. Now this doesn’t mean that you should you just sit down and do nothing until your passion reveals itself.

You life passion won’t suddenly just dawn to you. It requires experimentation and trying out new things to see what feels right for you and what doesn’t. #3. Don’t set expectations on your life passion
One of the biggest mistakes that people make when trying to find their passion is that they think that it should be something big or heroic. Finding your passion in life isn’t about saving the world or getting social validation.
It’s about you and what you enjoy doing. Perhaps you already have an idea of what you enjoy doing. Don’t shut down that inner voice that tells you to go bake a cake, or do gardening, or take nice photos with your lovely camera.
Give permission to yourself to spend time doing whatever you enjoy doing, no matter how small and insignificant it might seem, it doesn’t matter!

Life is meant to be full of experiences, good and bad. When you experience boredom, and mundane experiences, you’ll be more able to appreciate what sets your soul on fire. It’s okay if you try a lot of things which you didn’t like.
Remember that you’re always getting a bit closer as you know that it’s not that. When you find your passion, your heart will show you, but only if you let it. Some people know what their passion is and try to deny it because they either feel unworthy of it, or they feel like it’s not worthy enough to be a passion.

The Do’s – what can help you find your passion in life
#1. Be curious
Take a different approach. Instead of making pressure on yourself as if your life depends on it, be curious about who you are, what you enjoy doing and life in general.
When you adapt a curious attitude towards what you enjoy doing, you remove the pressure that you’re putting on yourself. This makes it easier for your to have fun with the process and motivates you to try new things. Being curious gets you a step closer to figure out what your passion in life is.
#2. Discover & develop a skill you enjoy
Finding your passion in life doesn’t happen overnight. Even the most successful people who live their passion everyday had to work on developing their skills.
Your passion is probably something that comes naturally to you. But there’s always room for growth and improvement. So you can’t expect yourself to find your life passion and be excellent in it from day one.
Most importantly is that you choose a skill that feels right to you. Don’t focus on developing a skill to bring money into your life. That’s not the point. Money is something that can come in later as a result of doing something you are passionate about and good at. Keep it simple and just focus on developing a skill you enjoy.
#3. Get out of your comfort zone
The journey to find your passion in life requires you to get uncomfortable. Staying in your comfort zone holds you back from growing and discovering beautiful things about yourself. Sometimes we cannot find our passion in life because we cannot see how to make it possible. It seems to be unachievable so we deny our own passion.
To learn what you’re really capable of doing, you need to challenge yourself and push yourself to try new things. Most often we tend to underestimate our own capabilities. We set limitations on ourselves due to our limited ways of thinking.
Trust me, when you start challenging yourself, you’ll realize that you’re more capable than you ever imagined. And what always seemed to be unachievable for you, will start looking as a possible reality.

#4. Ask your inner child
Our inner child never leaves us. Looking back at yourself as a child and remembering what you used to enjoy doing is a good indicator of what your passions are in life.
Whether you have personal memories, or whether these memories were passed on to you by your family members, pay attention to them.
When it came to my inner child, I had to dig a bit deeper as my passion and life purpose were revealed to me during my early teens. I had this feeling that I should be helping people. But I couldn’t see how to make it a thing, so I ignored it for more than a decade.
So if what you did as a young child doesn’t seem to click, check in with your teenage self and see what comes up.
#5. Seek guidance
You might have an idea of what your passion is in life and you might be denying it for various reasons. Or perhaps you’re still looking for that spark that sets your soul on fire.
Either way, seeking guidance through this journey of self-discovery will help you clear your roadblocks and direct you on your right path. An experienced mentor or coach can guide you and help you become aware of blind spots which you might not be seeing.
Becoming aware of your roadblocks can help you overcome them and make it easier for you to find your passion in life. For me, the biggest roadblock was not being able to see how to make it possible. Working with a coach to help me develop an abundance mindset made all the difference and helped me bring my passion and life purpose to life.
